The Korean Cultural Service Brings Back Their Free Korean Movie Nights



Korean Cultural Service of NY Features The King of Pigs As Part of Korean Animation Series



Free Korean Movies will restart on January 15, 2013 with the first part of the Korean Animation Series entitled "Drawn Into Film: Korean Animation".The King of Pigs, the first feature,was the first Korean film to ever screen at the Cannes Film Festival.The 2011 award wining film features stunning animation and tells the story of Kyung-min, a failed business man.  Kyung-min has just murdered his wife and reminisces about being bullied as a teen. Kyung-min meets with his childhood friend, Jong-Suk. Each man weaves a story through deception, with their central focus being on the one boy who fought back against the neighborhood bullies.
